| SAY YES ! TO THE KIDS Most kids would love to have a horse, but if you live in the city the only way that they can own a horse is to board it someplace. You know that costs a lot of money. |
WALKING AREA?? This is view standing on top of the pond dam looking South. This could be a small area to keep the horse confined. Water and electricty are no problem. there is pond or creek water in the blue pump stand. |
STABLE AREA Still standing on the pond dam, turn to your left slightly. Back in the tree line would be a great place for a small stable. The tree line in the center of the picture is about 20 feet wide. Behind it is a pipeline right-a-way that would be the pasture. |
| RIGHT-OF-WAY Continue turning to your left and you can see the right-of-way and the back of the pond dam. Notice the white post that is visible aganist the far tree line. |
WHITE POST Walk East on the pond dam toward the white post. The white post the location of a 14" pipeline that is buried 4 feet deep. The width of the right-of-way is about 45 feet wide at this point. Our property line is about 40 feet the other side of the tree line. |
SOUTH ON THE RIGHT-OF-WAY If you stand next to the white pipe and look South about 250 feet you can see where the creek crosses the right-of-way. The tree line on the right side is the same 20' wide tree line that could be cleared or thined so the right-of-way and the "STABLE AREA" would be joined. The ground slopes gradually from the bottom of the white post to the creek about 20 feet in elevation. |

NORTH ON THE RIGHT-OF-WAY Turning 180 degrees, looking North with the white post at my back, this picture shows an area of about 400 feet to the road in front of the house. |
NORTH ON THE RIGHT-OF-WAY Walking North on the right-of-way up the slope to the bare spot that shows in the previous picture is the road. |

Our
ten acres run about 1050 feet from the north boundery
to the south boundery and about 450' wide. If you walk
from the north to the south property line here is what
you will find. These are aproximate numbers. The first
300', on the North, are pretty level. The next 300' are
a decline of about 30' in elevation. Then the next 400'
is nearly flat with the creek meandering across the property
from the west to the east. |
