This is the house looking from the East side. The front and East side yard has a chain link fence.
As you can see there is a two car garage with lots of storage inside, even in the attic. The house has a large covered front porch.
This is the house viewed from the west side in the front. You see the two car garage and an air conditioned work room. The workroom has hardwood floor with cushioned inserts in the floor.
The area around the house is very shaded. We use window airconditioner units. We have fould that it is more economic to cool the area the we are opcopieing. I spend most of my time in the office, outside or the shop. My wife spends her time in the den, livingroom, her office or the kitchen. Those four rooms are cooled by two window units mounted in the walls. The metal roof was added in the Summer of 2006 and helped greatly with the cooling. There is no grass in the front to mow, but the backyard has grass as does the pond dam. The front yard and east side of the yard has a chainlink fence. You will see lots of deck space, porches and walkways. All of thise are made of treated 2" x 6" lumber. The covered front porch is 8' x 18'. The back porch is not covered but is 12' x 18' and well shaded by several big trees.
Standing in the backyard on the East end of the house it is almost hidden by the trees.
The back of the house has an entry into the dayroom. This room has a great view of the pond through the large windows. Oh, the brown on the roof is pine straw.
This picture looks north at the trolley platform. The trolley cable runs 200' across the pond. In the picture you can also see the house, water fountain and the spaceship.
There is a lot to keep kids busy on this ten acres. They swim and fish in the pond. We have cookouts around the pond and down on the creek. We have two bridges across the creek, one is a 60' long swinging bridge and the other is a steel bridge to walk across or drive 4-wheelers across. Across the bridges is a bag swing that hangs from a limb 50' in the air. Several deer have been taken on our property and sometimes wild hogs come onto the property. Then beyond our property line on the south is woods for nearly a mile and is part of a large hunting lease that covers several hundred acres.
